Anthony’s Family: I have a large extended family that lives nearby in Long Island, Staten Island, Brooklyn, New Jersey and some further away in California. My older brother is married and lives in New Jersey. My parents, Rose and Tony, are a huge part of our lives and will be very involved in our child’s life! They are very much looking forward to becoming grandparents. We see them almost every week, usually on Sundays. We enjoy eating together and playing Italian card games. My family is Italian American and we enjoy cooking traditional meals and attending a wide array of social and extended family gatherings throughout the tristate area that often include a big 21 person family Italian style dinner!

Nils' family: My parents live in Portland, Oregon and we try to see each other at least once a year. I have an older brother who is married with two kids and lives in Hawaii. We enjoy seeing the boys at least once a year, if not more. We love traveling to Hawaii to visit and spend time together, and we also meet up in Portland or on the west coast for family gatherings. During the holidays, we usually travel out to the west coast to spend time with my family. My family is very supportive and excited for us as we embark on this adoption journey.
